New Patients at Love Chiropractic Center
Welcome to our practice! To ensure a positive new patient experience, we aim to make the process as seamless as possible. Please bring your insurance card and driver’s license to your first appointment.
First Visit
First, we’ll have you complete some new patient paperwork, including your health history, and we’ll have you sign some forms. Then, you’ll watch a video and have your vitals taken. Next, you’ll meet briefly with one of our staff, who will get a generalized history so the doctor knows what issue he’s dealing with.
When the doctor comes into the room, he’ll give a posture analysis, and then decide what type of exam to perform and whether X-rays will be necessary. All of our employees are certified as chiropractic assistants and in X-rays, so they will perform our exams (and take any X-rays, if needed).
The following will be done:
- Orthopedic testing
- Neurological testing
- Taking of X-rays (only if necessary)
Please allow an hour for this appointment. If you’re a personal injury patient, it usually takes about an hour and a half.
At this appointment, usually the next day, we’ll have you watch a short video about why what we did is important and why chiropractic care is essential. Next is the report of findings. We’ll go over what was found from your X-rays and exams.
Then, we’ll review a treatment plan with you and discuss payment options. The doctor will then give you your first adjustment.
This second appointment takes about 45 minutes.
These appointments are quicker. We will aim to have you in and out in less than 30 minutes.
